August 22-26, 2004, Philadelphia
In recent years, the emergence of new biophysical and biochemical tools for single-molecule and single-cell studies has changed the way many biological problems are approached. This symposium will highlight the latest developments in imaging, spectroscopy, manipulation, and dynamics studies at the single-molecule and single-cell level. It will reflect the new knowledge generated by the use of these tools, and the exciting evolution of the fields through cutting edge experimentation, theoretical understanding, and continued innovation.
